Electra plodded confidently after the rest of the team, keeping a steady pace, until she came to a set of stairs leading down. Stairs? In the middle of the woods? She hesitated to enter the yawning black hole, but as she saw the others go through it, the canine followed as well. Darkness enveloped her and shut the outside away for a few moments, leaving Electra blinded with shadows, even once light stretched its way into her vision again.
A pink haze drifted over her mind as she stepped out, shocking her for a moment, her legs suddenly feeling fatigued. Sweet Scent! Realizing what the attack was, the breath caught in her throat and she stopped, struggling just to stay on her paws, which felt numb along with the rest of her. What's wrong with me...? she thought groggily, as if she were half asleep. As the Sweet Scent faded a bit, the Electrike found her senses and glanced around, looking for everyone, but her eyelids still seemed heavy. Trudging slowly after, Electra lowered her head and sniffed the ground for the gang's scent. At last she picked up a trace and followed it to the others, only to see a large sauropod-like Pokemon with huge leafy wings, and the familiar fruit growing from its neck. It looked paralyzed for the moment, but Electra didn't want to take any chances, so she lowered herself down into the tall grass and stalked over to the other side. Sighing in quiet relief, she scanned the area quietly for any other dangers.
Having followed Metis, Tensu, and the rookies, Duna observed the lush plant life growing around her. It was filled with Bug and Grass-type Pokemon, which were either staring at her in uncertainty or flailing beneath the trees, looking for something to eat. The Purrloin let out a rumble in the back of her throat and moved on between the towering plants, only seeing the staircase to the third floor when a Deerling let out a soft cry of happiness due to spotting a few Oran beneath the leaves.
Duna had just entered the next floor when a bittersweet smell wafted over her, catching her off-guard for a moment. Instantly noticing it was coming from farther ahead, she slapped her tail over her mouth and nose, following the trails in the grass. Seeing a large dinosaur-like Pokemon ahead, she lowered onto her four paws, since it was easier to quicken her pace that way. Duna raced across the forestry, her steps quick and silent and her breaths shallow, stopping only to let a small group of Grass Pokemon cross her path. The others might be in trouble! she thought, pressing on through the brush until she finally reached the Tropius. Noticing it seemed in shock, Duna realized the team probably already passed through this way. She crouched down and darted through, her fur only a purple-and-pale blur, turning and barely missing a thorn bush as she skidded. "Phew," she sighed, staying a bit low while staring wide-eyed at the stunned sauropod Pokemon.
(Sorry I took so long! I haven't been feeling very well the past day or two and writers' block is stalking my every movement. D:)
