You shouldn't have to download any patches because the patches are only for people who have already had FeralHeart and maybe have an older version of it and need an update. Since you just downloaded it today you should be fine.

The torrent should not do anything bad to your computer. The downloads for the game on this site are safe. Also btw avoid downloading FH+ just as some advice because it is VERY buggy and glitchy. Stick to the regular FeralHeart it will give you less problems. Hope that answers it all for you

ok so I found the file but it say its for the setup for the torrents?

no so where does the file normaly go I found the file for the torrent? will I have to re-download the game?

It's not responding now? Hmm when you clicked on the icon to start up the game did any error messages come up? Just double check that you didn't misplace any files.
