What's the difference between the performance version and the updated version?

The Performance version helps Lag I believe.

I update the performance version with each update. It runs faster, but lacks most of the shading effects of the full version.

It says  Feralheart\d3d9.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support (Word for word)

Try removing it to the recycle bin (don't delete it permenently incase it's actually important xD Idk how to work this thing) It might just not work for you, like me :/
