I am sorry for my noobishness but what's the difference between general and local??? XD Other than making general green.   ::)

General chat goes out to the whole map.
Local can only be seen by the people within name tag range of you.

I heard local chat when I flew to the skies in Bonfire.  So it's anybody within a certain radius from your location point.
