"Be weary of the overseers though, rainbow runner." Juniper felt herself shivering, already feeling what she read in the sky came true. She glanced over to see above that a small star went out, never to be seen again. The African Wolf Dog nodded at the pup's response though, seeing he was a bit quicker than most his age just like Perseus but she didn't bother to wonder where Perseus was; she practically knew he went off towards the pack nearby (but she didn't tell him about it.) "Some would rather play with you and watch you crumble than rebuild what they've destroyed.." Her long tail swayed under her nose and without thinking, she released a terribly squeaky sneeze and she rubbed her paw against her nose. "My apologies, my tail tends to have the upper hand."
Perseus soon infiltrated the heart of the pack seeing as how most of the defenders left and he began to explore and poke his head into the dens, not aware of who or what was inside of them. Before he reached a certain den, he wrinkled his nose to find the scent of food nearby. he was quite the gluttonous type (as Juniper always pointed out) and she quietly trotted over to see piles of meat left. He chuckled a bit, knowing that he should hide this.
He began to dig around holes and hide the meat in them. Quickly enough, he had already dug up and hid about over half the the carcasses but he soon went back to crouching around and exploring.
