Export Crash
« on: December 21, 2012, 09:36:09 pm »
So while trying to export two of my maps, it crashes in the middle of it.

Is there any known causes of this?

- Try checking your particles folder for double particles and delete them. They would have numbers at the end like this _0 or _1 etc.
- If that doesn't work check out this link:

That deals with height maps and terrains. I believe my problem might be linked to a certain object possibly GB or GL citystuff maybe.

At times it does make multiple particle files but it'll cause me to crash while exporting without the double particle problem arising so it isn't that 98% of the time.

That link doesn't explain my problem.

Be sure to check in your my_objects and sky folder also as I myself have found duplicated particle files there. Make sure in Object Maker that all objects you used in your map didn't have a problematic mesh in the same group, for example a mesh with a missing texture or material or crashes your game when you load it. If you have any mesh's like that be sure to delete them from the object group.
Will be inactive due to work and exams.

If placing the map files into the Feral Heart "Exports" folder didn't make it work right than try placing the files as so:
FHM files go into FH> Media >Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
MP3 files go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
Then restart the game

There seems to be nothing else duplicated anywhere.
Do you think it could be a mesh pack that just has something wrong with it?

Possibly, which mesh pack did you download?
