I downloaded FeralHeart+ and whenever I logged in, the entire background was black. So, I tried logging into the original FeralHeart, and the same thing happened. I uninstalled both FeralHeart and FeralHeart+, and deleted any lingering files ~ My Computer - (C:) - FeralHeart - Media - Patricles, Objects, etc. & the patch, which was also left over after installation. I re-installed the original FeralHeart, which seemed to be working at first, but then after I selected my character and the loading page would come up, the music would suddenly stop and a pop-up would read "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..." then I would be forced to cancel out. I downloaded FeralHeart+, and the same thing occurred. So, I uninstalled everything and deleted everything all over again but this time for FeralHeart+ instead of saving it to the default location, as said to do by another thread, I saved it as C:/FeralHeartPLUS (no + sign.) Alas, same thing as before kept happening.

I switched back and forth multiple times on both the original FH and FH+ rendering subsystems (OpenGL and Direct3D), but it didn't seem to make a difference.
I even tried shutting down and restarting the entire computer, re-installing FH and FH+ while making sure absolutely no other Window programs were open, and changing my computer's performance (from "Power Saver" to "Balanced.) I gave up yesterday and have been going at it for hours today and I can't figure out what else to do anymore!
I had used FH for a looong time with no issues about a year ago, then stopped using it for a few months before trying it again yesterday, with this happening. Is it because my characters/account is older? Doesn't really make sense, though.
I seriously doubt it's because my computer is too old. It is only two years old, Windows 7, and FH works perfectly fine on my sister's much older, slower desktop computer.

Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!!!

Btw, I've already read/been to the "BIG Help Thread" and lots of other thread topics relating, but none helped.
