Maska's ears swiveled forward upon noticing a few hazed figures. A low growl crawled up his throat, and his dark fur instinctively bristled upright. Koda pulled his head out of Maska's chest fur and glanced up at him, a small whine of fear escaping his maw at his father's tension. Nervously, the pup shoved himself closer to his father's chest, hiding his face again. Maska kept his gaze fixed on the creatures, his growling immediately ceasing when he recognized it as the wolves from before. He let out a subtle sigh of relief, but tesned his muscles when he noticed the enormous striped cat, at least three times the size of a wolf. What the Hell is that- He thought to himself. He relaxed a bit upon noticing it seemed to be traveling with them. He dipped his head in a greeting as the party returned to the cave, dropping an unconscious fae. He rose to his paws, forcing Koda to scamper behind him to keep hiding from the strangers. Lowering his head, Maska eyed the unconscious female, glancing at the lynx. Odd choice of companionship. He thought to himself, noticing how visibly attached the two seemed. "What happened?" He quickly asked, his stern gaze drifting from creature to creature.
