oh geez, so sorry guys! i had an ap test, band concert, choir concert... gosh graduatings stressful... -~-;))

aluxia looks at slay a bit nervously and stands, she decided it was a good time to get some fresh air. she skirts around the others, lunix in tow, and slips outside. she climbs to the top of the cave, where she and slay slept the night before, and sits down. lunix curls up between her front paws and looks up at her.

Slayter shook his head and quickly left the cave, leaping up to stand beside her. "How sure are you about this?" he asked after a short minute.

she jumps slightly at his sudden appearance. she looks him in the eye with a strange expression then looks up at the moon. "my mother always told me that i would know when i was carrying life, she said it was an unexplainable feeling, but i would know it when i felt it..." she looks back at him, hoping he wasnt annoyed at the old dens maid lessons. "i cant explain it, slayter... but i know their there..." she looks down at her side and dabs at it with a paw. "i am sorry, slay, its a bad time for a family..." she whimpers looking down at lunix.

Slayter shook his head. "Don't be sorry. It's my doing." He sighed and played down. "I'll be supportive, I just need a while to process." He admitted.

she nods and gives him a small but relieved smile and lays down, careful not to crush lunix. the silver tom stands, nodding farewell to the alpha pair he returns to the cave. aluxia looks at him sideways her gaze soft, "for the record, i think you will be a great father." she says quietly.

Slayer whined slightly, as he had at the river, his ears swiveling back. He nodded slightly and closed his eyes.

     Abyss took a steady breath. She made sure Klein was asleep. Yes, he was asleep, but it looked more like he had face planted.
     She held back a small chuckle and stepped outside to guard as usual. She sniffed the air, seeing if it would carry a miasma of a scent of blood. But, that wasn't the only reason she stayed out. She always felt as though she couldn't be too far from the moon. She stared at it intensly, with her yellow eyes. It was a harvest moon, the moon that was there when her pack had been hit with the virus.

Nik laid beside Marv but found no sleep.  He snorted as a bug landed on his nose.  He lifted his head and shook it.  He looked outside the cave expecting to see Abyss sitting there.  She was.  He stood, making sure not to wake the young lynx beside him.
"You look at the moon like it's a living thing."  He said.

     She smiled lightly. "It was there when I was born. It's like a sibling to me." she cleared her throat. "The elder of my past pack told me that the moon was my guardian." She seemed to glare at the yellowed moon now. "It was there, however, when my pack tore itself apart from the inside... so, I think her argument was invalid..."
     Her ear pivoted as she heared Klein snoring, taking one mouthful of dirt in after another.
