Map water help???

So i'm making a volcano map and i'm trying to add Lava/Water.

How do you give a water a texture, And how do you lower a bit of ground to put water in?

Another thing that'd help is telling me how to make the map bigger...

right to change the water's texture you go to "world" under there at the very bottom you will see "Ocean" you can change its height to sit into any bit of the land you want it to. also an alternative for this is on the same tab under "Terrain texture" there should be something which says "height" change that to change the height of the land and consequently where the water sits on it. to change the water's texture just type the file name / location in the "Ocean material" area at the bottom of that same tab. GOOD LUCK

To lower the ground, you'll need to make a height map. More information about map making basics like this can be found in the 'Manual' section of the site.

Select the World tab in Map Maker.

Tick the box with the word Ocean next to it.

In the box with the light blue border is where you change the ocean height. Type in a number such as 100 for example. The higher the number the higher the water will go.

Well if you do ocean how do you place ground? :/

I tried doing the height map thing but it won't place ground HOW Do you place ground?

I'm not sure what you mean be "placing ground". Do you mean making the heightmap show up in-game? If so, read here: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=9
