I see it many time and I think I have seen it the most in the General chat.
It happens way to much and most of the time it ends in people being kicked.
I don't see why people make a big deal out of seeing them.. I mean.. there normal people just like us.

I agree with what you guys say. Sometimes people act all gaga and awe-struck when they see a mod, you think they were meeting a world famous celebrity or something.  ::) The mods are just people like us. They are just doing their jobs of making sure everything is in order, no big deal right?
I have seen only a couple of times when people were harrassing one or more of the mods. There was this one random lioness who kept butt-swinging infront of the mods in a troll like manner. A couple of people around her asked her nicely to please stop. It's like they were asking for trouble; probably did it to see if the mods would do anything about it.  ::)

And you know what's just as bad? I have heard people say things about some of the people that hang around the mods. I've heard some people say things like "Those guys who cuddle up with the mods is a big suck ups" or "mod pets" (like teacher's pets) No they aren't! They are just FRIENDS!!! What, are mods not aloud to have friends like the rest of us?! Sheesh, people. I know the difference between a friend and someone who wants to be a suck-up. There is nothing wrong with chilling with a mod. They won't mind as long as you don't bother them, or stir up any kind of trouble. I sometimes hang around with some forum friends and they hang around where the mods like to relax (especially if my RP friends have logged off for the day). When I do sit with them, I try not to disturb them since they may be in the middle of something; watching the general chat, answering questions, etc.

So far, I have mostly seen Red, Ramine, Wolfox, Delay, and on rare occasions Ringo, or Takani. I haven't seen the others.

I understand overreacting a little when seeing a mod but that  is for the first time althought I can't see why -_-.Yes,they are famous people, but we should think that everytime we act like this:"OMG REEED!!!!" there's a chance, you know, for them to feel a little awkward. If you like being in their company then  you can sit near them, chat with them, but also, remember that they are normal people just like all of us.

To be honest, any time someone says that, I read it as "reed."

I understand you. People can be happy or shocked when they see a mod. -_- I understand there cool and everything, but when people come all over them..I'll be like..'Give them personal space or something'. I can also understand they are your friend..Alright..But I see where you going with this,Rusty. This is extremely annoying. -_- Also, I don't be doing this..I'll just give them a 'Hi',then go back to chatting.

I see this happen a lot. Especially in the plains. People find a mod/admin and stick to the like glue, asking them questions and trying to get them to be their friend. I think one reason for this is that they're trying to get on their good side so that the mod or admin in question might hesitate in adminstering a punishment if said person breaks the rules, or in the hope that the person might be recruited into the staff team. Or perhaps it could be that people have great respect for them, which is understandable, but getting close and cuddly with them is an odd way of showing it if you ask me. I'm sure a "Hi, how're you. I think you're doing a good job" would suffice. xD

I just saw this today. First I'm rping as my TLK character and suddenly some people I recognize from the forum are nearby. The one lion threatens wolffox to move or he'll block her. I said something about people in that group being mods and suddenly Zira gets all excited and starts yelling in general chat "Mods are here!" and a bunch of stuff. I don't overreact about mods. I even told her not to. But she still went on. I'm not a mod overreacter, I'm uh- kinda uh- scared and shy though. But that's me, I don't like talking to really anyone.

That's funny! Well, in my opinion. Seriously, that's a little rude. xD People saying that. I don't see exactly why people are called 'mod pets' or such, because mods/admins have the same worth and value as us, but they just have a job. (And some.. 'special' controls with that job. xD)  I actually thought that at ONE, what did I say, ONE, time.

Woah, woah...'mod pets'? I am feeling incredably insulted. I don't consider myself a so-called 'mod pet' and nor do I think the others who hang with mods consider themselves their 'pets' either. From my point of view, a 'mod pet' would be a person who clings onto the mods/admins day in and day out, licking their boots, kissing their fluffy rear ends! Nothing more than a obedient follower with no mind of their own that would jump off a cliff if one of them told them to.
I for one am proud to say that I am not that kind of person; I am my own person, with my own mind, thoughts and opinions. If Red said to me, "Take this bottle of rat poison and drink it," (this is an exaggeration) not like he would, but it's an example, I'd tell him to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine. I am certainly not someone's 'pet'.
And anyone who says otherwise are probably just jealous that their friends aren't as amazing as ours. And they can go into the darkest and most isolated of corners and hang their insolent heads in shame.

I'm sorry if any of that seemed a bit over the top or overly extreme; that comment just made me so angry.  >:(
