Kyza smiled as the brute introduced himself "My name is Felix, what about you?" she gave a smile as she retrieved her tongue back into her mouth "My name is Akiyza, but its a bit hard to pronounce so you may call me Kyza" she smiled her tail continued to wag "Nice to meet you anyway" she added her paws pressed against the grass as she ran her paw through it then placing it back down, focused on the male.

Felix watched as the pound van drove the opposite way, and a shiver ran down his spine. What if they had actually caught him? Then he zoned back into real life, just in time to hear the female say, "My name is Akiyza, but its a bit hard to pronounce so you may call me Kyza." He liked her name, so he wagged his tail slightly. "Don't see that name everyday," he chuckled in a friendly way. "Have you been on the streets long?" She looked rather young, but he couldn't quite tell her age. Felix himself has been in the streets for sometime, but unlike other dogs, he has no intention of interacting with the humans, nor other dogs... But Akiyza saved him, so he was willing to talk to a friendly dog. The sun started to make him pant, so he lolled his tongue out of his mouth, and panted silently. He wanted to hear what Kyza had to say.

Kyzas tail wagged as she looked at the male, he seemed quite friendly in her eyes. Looking at him she couldn't really remember seeing him in the streets he must of been new to the streets, but then again there's many dogs that have lived in the streets she hasn't seen. Her ears perked as she spoke "You don't see that name everyday" she chuckled then gave him a nod "Yeah its an unusual one" she smiled as the brute went on to ask her how long she had been on the streets "Well I've been on the streets about 2-3 years now, not that long really" she shrugged after saying this then going on on to ask "So how long have you been on the streets? she asked curiously her ears perked and her tail wagged.

Sorry, but I cannot post pictures.

Name:
June
Age:
3 1/2 years
Gender:
Female
Breed:
Unknown
Sub-Breed(s):
Unknown
Appearance:
June has long poofy ebony colored fur. Her eyes are a chocolately brown, that can melt even the coldest of hearts. June has a long feathery tail, that ends with a white tip. Her ears are two ivory triangles atop the ebony.
Her chin is white, and the white leads down to her chest and to her underside. The tips of her black paws are white. Her nose is a light pink, and gives her a quirky look atop the black and white.
Her teeth that used to be iridescent, are now tinted with yellow and black. Her ear is split and June's fluffy pelt is matted. She walks with a pernament limp, from being kicked in the hindquarters.
Her neck is severely injured. When Molly left her, she failed to take the collar off. So now, years later, it is inveded into her neck causing it to ooze and bleed. It has a sickly odor to it, and flies swarm to it.
Personality:
June is quiet and timid. Her heart was broken when Molly left her, and doesn't trust easily. She doesn't take to change too well, and sticks to places that are familiar and comforting. Even if that means being captured by the dog catcher and ending with the same fate as her mother. On the rare chance someone can break through the barriers that were built up, they have a friend for life. June is very loyal, and would do anything for her friends.
History:
June was born late in winter. Her mother decided to birth her puppies under a porch of a group home. The kids in the group home knew about her being there and would feed her scraps that they could smuggle out of the house. The kids adored her, and would shower her with attention. But the lady of the house despised animals of any sort. But the kids hid June's mother best they could. It worked, up until it was time for June to come into the world.
That night, after the kids had gone to bed, June's mother had gone into labor. In total, June's mother had 4 puppys. But during the night, cold seeped into the tiny bones of the other 3 pups, and slowly they froze to death. June survived with the constant warmth provided by her mother's body and tongue.
In the morning the kids ran out of the house. They greeted the new bundle of fur with enthusiasm, but were beckoned to school with the arrival of the big yellow bus. June's mother knew to be quiet and not make a sound, but June on the otherhand, did not. During the day she whined and whimpered and the lady heard it. She went outside and looked under the porch. There they were, June, her mother, and three frozen bodys. The lady shrieked and ran to the house, dialing the dog catcher as fast as her small boney fingers could. Before the dog catcher got there, the big yellow bus rode up again. The kids ran to the yard and hugged and petted the two. Then the dog catcher's van rolled to a stop in front of their yard.
The kid's watched in horror as the dog catcher slipped a noose over June's mother's neck. As the mother dog struggled, June was scooped up by a little girl. Quickly the girl ran inside the house, up the stairs, and into a small room. June was placed on a bed and the little girl sat next to the small puppy.
The little girl was named Molly. She had long golden locks of hair, tied into two pigtails with pink ribbons. The freckled face had a small nose, long eyelashes, beautiful big brown eyes. Around her neck lay a silver locket.
Molly looked upon the small puppy, her face tender and caring. Slowly a tentative hand went and stroked the small form. June was safe and warm.
The next day, June was thrust into a basket, and pushed under the bed. Molly rushed to school, and when she came back, an aqua collar in her hand. Sewed into it with black, was the word June. Molly put the collar around the puppy's neck, and clasped it. June drifted into sleep as Molly smiled at the small form. Molly promised to protect the puppy, to care for it.
Four weeks after that moment, June was an energetic ball of fur. She couldn't stay locked up in that room forever, Molly knew that. But still, Molly couldn't let the puppy run around the house. After school Molly brought June to the park. And with a heavy heart, walked away. Leaving her best friend behind. June tried to follow, but Molly walked too fast. Leaving June alone.
Since then, June lived on the streets, learning from others, trying to survive.

The pointer awoke as a new scent wafted by him. He pused his way through the dead undergrowth before he saw the winding trail. Beside the trail, he saw a human family with a fire, and food was set atop the fire. "Stupid beings!" He barked, why would they burn good food? The male instantly turned and rushed after the pointer. Before he could dodge, the male hit him with a hot steel rod. Reece wailed and spe down the trail, the hot rod leaving a burnt spot on his head.

{No, it's fine, but thanks for the offer.}

The vibrant green grass tickled the raspberry colored nose as June settled onto the lawn. Her 62 pound form flattened the grass beneath her as she lay down in the cool grass. The ebony figure looked around nervously as she lay, scared that humans-or other animals-might be lurking nearby. Though the quiet street showed no threat, the humans either at work or sleeping in.
June rested her ebony head upon her two ivory tipped paws. The cool grass felt extremely good to the dog. Although, despite the joy coming from the grass, June's body still ached in pain. Her stomach ached in hunger, her throat burned in thirst, but the worst pain would be the base of her neck. There the collar broke through her skin, the wound smelling strongly of infection. In the heat of the afternoon flies would flock to that area.
June tried hard to ignore the pain in her body, but it was impossible. Overcome with hunger the dog rose up, the movement making her wince. June pushed her pain to the side and began to limp her way to the houses. For a normal dog this trip would take no less than a minute, but for June and her limp, it took over 10. Upon arriving to her destination, June was overcome with exhaustion. Yet the pain in her stomach was still there, making her try and ignore the exhaustion in her limbs.
June weakly made her way to the trash cans, and shouldered it over, not caring about the loud thump it made. She tore open the black bag inside the bin with her yellowed teeth, and began to gobble anything edible.
There was nothing.
No food, no scraps, no anything. June was shocked, all that work. For nothing... June was still thinking this over as a boot collided with her chest. A loud yelp escaped her muzzle as the boot retracted , and was looking to strike again. June tried to scurry away, but her tired limbs betrayed her. She barely made it 5 steps before she collapsed, not able to do anything against the kicks. Don't hurt it! A voice sounded. June couldn't piece together the sounds to form a sentence, but the kicks stopped. Aw, c'mon. It's just a mangy mutt. A deeper voice said. Once again these sounds June did not know, but somehow they were helping her. The voices fueded for a few minutes, before the two disappeared all together.
The ebony dog looked up from her position on the silvery concrete, and found herself alone. Slowly she stood, and wobbled/limped her way back to the grass, as soon as June got there she collapsed. There the ebony form lay, passed out from pain and exhaustion.

Taylor! High  five my laptops working!))

The mutt dog's tail slowly slid against the thin grass, and he listened carefully. "Well I've been on the streets about 2-3 years now, not that long really," Kyza shrugged, and to  Felix that seemed like a rather long time. "So how long have you been on the streets?" She asked, and Felix stayed silent for awhile, counting the months. "Only about 10, or 11 months, short than you," he chuckled. She probably hadn't seen him around  as he usually lurks in his alleyway, or sees his mother before retreating into the forest to get some lunch. He was a good hunter. He was sure he had seen her once, when he was looking out from the alleyway he saw a grey, short-haired dog with a white blaze across her face, and a white chest, with a white underbelly. She had small, mid-floppy ears. She looked exactly like that dog.

The female golden retriever lifted from her hunches and crossed the road as her tongue lolled out her mouth, she decided to go for a walk. Her golden ears flopped about as she padded through the park, passing many humans who insulted her but she just looked at them out the corner of her eye and let out a small snarl, she knew how some humans had a bitter attitude so she didn't react to much. She sat in the park as she looked up at the forest where many humans went camping as her tail wagged, she decided to lay down for a bit before she went on a walk.

The female let out a smile as her grey and white tipped tail slid across the soft grass, her tongue slightly lolled out her mouth. The faes ears perked at the brutes reply "Only about 10, or 11 months, shorter than you" the brute gave a chuckle as so did she "Yeah not that long, but i bet your use to it by now?" she questioned her head slightly tilted, she hadn't really seen him around before but at times she could act a little dumb and not pay attention to her surroundings.
