Watchful eyes flickering over the grass as a feline padded through the forest, his pelt smoothed and clean. Thin short whiskers brushed over the tall steams as the tom bounded forward, his ears swiveling as he picked up the familiar scent of a mouse. Crouching low, his eyes locked into a plump mouse as it nibble on a beechnut, unaware of the hunting feline. Wriggling his hindquarters, the feline lunged for the mouse, unsheathing his claws as he--
Sharp claws pierced Risto's skin as the feline's dream slipped out of his paws and whipped away into the air. "Hey!" Risto protested, struggling to his paws as he glared into the serious face of Dusty. "I was dreaming." He grumbled, shaking out his pelt.
"So?" Dusty raised an eyebrow. "We all dream." Risto glared at him again.
"It was a rare dream," he snapped. "I was about to catch the plumpest mouse when you woke me up. It was only this far off." Risto muttered, placing his left paw an inch away from the right. He flicked a torn ear as Dusty let out a snort of laughter. "Idiot." The feline muttered. "Why did you wake me up for?"
The brute shrugged. "You were wriggling in your sleep. It was distracting me." Dusty explained, before padding to his side. Letting out a scoff, Risto stretched, shaking his head as he headed out the tunnel. He blinked as water droplets splashed onto his muzzle. Great. It's raining. Blinking, he spotted a figure on the shore not far away, nosing through the pile of kill. Who the - is that?... Risto wondered, crouching low. He glanced up at where Marie was. If she knew that figure was an intruder, shouldn't she have called out an alarm? Suspicious, Risto glanced up, surprised to see that the figure was approaching him. Bracing himself, he fluffed out his fur and unsheathed his claws, trying to peer at the stranger's face.
"Oh..." Risto murmured, relief spilling over him as he recognized Teegan's face. She seemed a little exasperated, and some prey was clamped in her jaws. Feeling sorry for her, he bounded up to her, his pelt drenched from the rain. "You need any help?" he asked her, raising his voice over the pouring rain.
