Gavroche's ears flicked at the voice of Risto. Lifting his head and glancing around, he flattened his ears as another shiver coursed through his body again. "Yeah. I'm f-fine." He murmured stubbornly, glancing at the ground.

Cara picked up her crab an peele off the shell. Then she snapped up the crab and ate it quickly. She hadnt realized how hungry she was until now.

The storm quickly whipped back into its previous fury. The wind was audible in its hard howling, and more concerning, the waves below sounded as if they were crashing against the rocks at the base of the cliff. The tide had surged farther up than before until it had engulfed the entire beach. The loud pounding waves immediately sparked Flak's interest and concern. Padding slowly to the mouth of the tunnel, he braced himself as he crept into the wind and rain to peer over the edge of the cliff. Jesus-. He snarled and whipped back around, dashing back into the cave. "Storm surge!" He barked, shaking his drenched pelt. "The storm's whipped the sea past its normal breaking point. The water has reached the base of the cliff, and if the storm continues the way it is, it'll raise up here in no time." He added in a softer, almost defeated tone.

((DRAMATIC SWAG ENTRANCE))

Risto forced himself to straighten up, hiding his tremble as he cautiously approached Flak. "Should we move out? I know it might be difficult due to the rain and wind, but there will be no hope if the water actually rises up here. We'll drown." The feline murmured, uncertainty filling his voice.

     Flak shook his pelt once more before glancing down at Risto. "Just what I was about to suggest." He replied smoothly, shooting a gaze at the others. "Is everyone prepared to make a move?" He barked, flicking his tail.

Risto let out a quiet grunt at Flak's response, shaking out his pelt as he prepared to move in the rain. He felt a little uncomfortable traveling in the wind and rain again, but he knew it was for the sake of his life. Retreating back to his corner, he carefully picked up the herbs in his mouth and headed back to Flak, standing beside the brute as he glanced around, waiting for the others to prepare themselves. His ear twitched as Dusty murmured, "C'mon." Before gently nosing the fae up.

Teegans ears perked as the winds began to pick up and the rain got heavier a snarl escaped her maw as she peered out the tunnel, Flak running out then back is, the female shepherd gasping slightly as she backed up. "I'm ready, I'd rather be stuck in a storm then drown in a cave!" She muttered looking at the pack a little concerned as the tide would soon hurry up and lap over the cliffs. Shivers ran down her spine as her head whipped around.


Thunders had begun to get louder and Micah curled into a much tighter ball, then gasping as she heard the burst from who she guessed was Flak. Whipping her head up she jumped to her paws "We'll drown.." She muttered to herself her whole body twitching as a frightened sigh escaped her maw.


Jip watched as Flak bounded out the cave then back in muttering on about the sea, gasping he looked at Cara and jumped up kicking the skeleton fish bones aside. Looking at Cara he carefully padded over and shook the female "Wake up quickly, we're moving out!" He muttered then padding over towards the two larger pups and waking them up.

"Alright. Then let's go." Flak barked over the others, turning and padding out the tunnel first. He winced as the rain immediately began to pelt his face, but ignored it. "Everyone stay close. If you slip or get separated, you're dead." He yipped over his shoulder, keeping his tone loud to ensure everyone could hear him above the howling wind and pounding waves not far below.

Gavroche's eyes widened and he reluctantly followed the others. Sticking close behind Dusty, he flattened his ears as they pressed outside.

Teegan nodded then turned to look at Cara and her pups "I'll grab a pup" she muttered and bounded towards the back of the cave grabbing one of the larger pups and nodding to Cara. Even though she didn't like the fae to much she decided she needed help, carefully she carried the pup out into the rain as it suddenly drenched her pelt, and the pup whinned but she had to ignore it as there was nothing she could do. Lowering her head a little she held the pup gently and followed after Flak.


Micah nodded at Flak then agreed with Teegan turning and grabbing one of the larger pups after bounding out the den, she hated storms but it was this or drown in the cave. Sighing the pup gently swayed to and fro as it hung from her jaws, the white fae flinching slightly as large rumbles of thunder continued to echo through the sky, her being nearly at the back of the pack.


Jip looked at Flak and nodded as he looked at Cara, the two pups' touch vanished from the front of his legs and he whipped his head around to see Teegan and Micah helping, a smile grew across his face "Thanks." He muttered dipping his head slightly as they padded off. "Come on" he instructed to Cara as he picked up the first smaller pup and one being left for Cara, once ready the two left the cave with the pups dangling from their maws, rain water causing his pelt to instantly go drenched.
