Billy glared down and let out a sigh. "There ain't nothin' nearby." He muttered, removing his hat. "Just keep close to the fire and use the blanket. It'll help."

[daiseydd]

We are and it's just getting colder, the baby is gonna die out here." she starts to cry.

[Jackkdaw]

"Well that's the best we can do right now. The damn cold came quicker this year than before. Here-" He removed his coat and tossed it to her. "That's the best we've got now. Just stick close to the fire. It'll be fine."

It's not me its Bella! She's got such bad trembles, no matter what I do, and her lips are bluer than mine! "Elizabeth starts to panic

[Jackkdaw]

"Uhh, hold her up to the fire, then. I dunno!" Billy suggested with a shrug, clearly having no idea how children work.

Elizabeth glares at him. "what if we were your wife and child? And this was your baby freezing to death out here? What would you be doin then?" she tries to put it in perspective for him

[Jackkdaw]

Billy simply shrugged, glancing over at them. "Heh, never had any 'a that, so I can't say." He raised his eyebrows and shifted his gaze back to the fire. "There ain't nothin' we can do right now. Can't travel much in the dark."

And if she dies?" Elizabeth stares at him

  "She won't." Billy reassured, though he was unsure. "Long as you stay near the fire. Really ain't much more we can do until sunrise."

Elizabeth curls up tighter. "if she dies tonight, I'm putting a bullet in my head," she states softly
