Billy's eyes grew rather wide at Bella's words, and he adjusted the Stetson on his head to shield his eyes from the hazy sun. "Well. Best be getting you two to safety." He quickly said, shrugging off the child's words. Giving Westwood a quick spur to the sides, he urged the stallion forward into a lazy walk, though he had no idea where to go from there.

Elizabeth chews her lip. "maybe we could find a town where they don't know about you...and start over...ya know...be a family..." she mumbles the last part, embarrassed

Billy wrinkled his brow a bit at the thought, and after a pause shook his head. "The family life just ain't for me. I 'preciate the idea and everythin', but I have to live on the run. I like the excitement. Heh. 'Sides, there ain't one town out here that ain't heard 's me. Word spreads fast 'round here. Settling down just ain't an option for me, not at this point." He explained with a sigh, stillunwilling to give up his bandit way of life

Please Billy... We could have a nice little farm and a hot meal to come home to...and all the other nice things in a family..." she stares up at him, giving him the puppy eyes.

"I- really- I can't." He stammered, lowering an eyebrow at her. "I've got a reputation. Enemies. Hell, even every sheriff within a 50 mile radius after me." He rubbed his head under his hat. "I just ain't the best person to be hangin' around."

Billy...we could go up north...they won't know ya up there...please." she pleads with him, tking his hand in her tiny hands.

Billy blew a huff of air from his lips, staring down at the dirt in front of them as Westwood carried them onwards at a walk. "Elizabeth, I just ain't ready to give up life as it is now." He admired at a hushed tone, still staring downwards

You're gonna end up killed...you need to settle down...please Billy...I'm begging here..." she tears up

"That's the whole thrill 'a it. Trying to get by like that." He smirked in fondness at the memory of his many narrow escapes, zoning off a bit in reflection. "It's just, who I am, I guess." Billy added, glancing back at Elizabeth as the smirk vanished from his face.

Elizabeth cries softly. "and what will become of me and Bella...?"
