Bella cuddles up to him, stopping her tears. "rabbit, and biscuits." she sighs. "maybe if the chickens out there get plentiful, we'll be able to have eggs." Bella reaches for his face, wanting his attention, showing him the rag doll in her hands.

Billy nodded, turning his head to keep it out of the baby's reach. "Horses are settled in the barn," he started, glancing around at ths house. "I see you've picked up the place." He observed, his conversation transitions rather awkward for some reason.

Elizabeth nods. "you're getting good with her." she grins at him. "you don't look like you're in pain when you hold her."

Billy simply let out a chuckle at her words . "Guess I'm just gettin' used to the little runt." He replied with a half smile.

Bella giggles up at him, blinking her pretty blue eyes. "I think she's gotten prettier since she was born. It shocking almost. " Elizabeth laughs. "wait till she gets of age. She'll have the suitors lined up around the block."

Though...are you still gonna be around when that time comes...?" Elizabeth looks up at him, eyes wide

Billy immediately glanced up at her, lowering a brow. "What do ya mean? Why wouldn't I?" He questioned

Just, ya know. You seem like a traveller, a wanderer.I don't want to hold you back. " she looks down shyly

"Who said anythin' about you holdin' me back? Doesn't seem that way to me " Billy shrugged, scratching his head with his free hand. "'sides, it's more interestin' when you ain't travelin' alone." He smirked a bit.
