Charlie rolled he eyes and sighed "Fine." She shrugged and dismounted Mouse, handing Jake the reins. She walked over the the open door of the inn, neatly avoiding the destroyed step. She looked behind her "Wish me luck." And stepped inside, taking off her Steston.

"Good luck." He muttered, tilting his head to watch her walk inside before pushing forward, riding towards the livery. Once he'd paid and gotten the horses into the proper stalls, he nodded, knowing the workers would come untack them. Pistol lifted his head and nickered. "Jake's got the hots for your rider." He snorted in amusement to Mouse who stood across from him. Jake paid the people up front and signed a fake name before walking back to the inn.

  Billy lowered his eyebrows at Charlie as he trudged past her unsteadily. "The Hell're you lookin' at, woman." He jerked his hand up, flipping the Stetson off her head, and then breaking into mindless laughter again.

Charlie snatched her Steston off of Billy "I don't know, but it's drunk." She retorted, pushing her hat back on her head. She sighed and jerked her hand up, flipping his hat off his head in the same manner he had done to her. Mouse perked her ears at Pistol's words "What? You mean Lottie?" She shook her head, holding back a chuckle.

Billy wobbled a bit, rather unsure of what just happened. He gave his hat, which was laying on the floor, a kick before marching past it, towards the stairs leading to the upper floor where the rooms were. Leaning with his side against the wall, he scratched his head, staring around with narrowed eyes for a moment of utter confusion.

Charlie followed Billy up the stairs, picking up his Steston. She brushed off the dust and watched as his eyes darted around the hallway. She sighed and harshly shoved him into the room they had paid for, throwing his Steston in with him. She left the door open and stood in front of it with her hands on her hips.

(I don't know why, but just now Billy reminds me of Jack Sparriw in the Pirates of the Carribean.)

Spirit watched the humans get ready to leave. Spirit snorted and ran quickly back to camp. She had been away long enough. She urged her legs to run faster. Nothing would take her camp.

Once she arrived at camp she saw a Scorpian emerge from the den. Her den! She growled and lunged. The scorpian pinched her on the leg. Spirit whimpered and clamped her jaws over the scorpian's tail and snapped it. Another kill, and more food. *Short*
