Map and items help?

Hey,the game is running fine for me,but I'm not sure how to install maps and add item packs to my game.I watched a video where someone said that for the items,i need to copy the code that's in the download of the item pack.I did and i pasted it in the items.cfg just like it said.The name of the item would show,but only half of the items in the pack.Also when i tried to add them,it wouldn't put them on my character.Also for the maps,i never tried putting one on my game.Can you give me some instructions on how to do that? Thanks

The first link only brings me to the regular index,the forums home to be precise.The second link does take me to a post,but the video tutorial gives me an error saying the video does not exist.

Okay.I have realized how to add maps and everything works fine.Now for the items problem :c
