The small bear soon emerged near the shore, her arms seeming to be cradle an amount of fish, like a human. She wasn't quite sure how bears worked, for how Dissia described it was very weird and strange. She dumped the pile near the shore, shaking her head to rid of the water before swimming back down again.
Dissia kept a hand placed over the symbol on her arm, eyes concentrated on the book. She muttered something she'd read, closing her eyes at the same time, cracking them open a bit as she saw what looked like a transparent blue spreading over the area, but it slowly turned to a black, then a bright red. Except the red wasn't her magic, it was the sign itself. Her eyes snapped open and she hurriedly got up, dumping her book and bag on the floor as she ran away from the lake, back to the ice cave as she felt her head spinning and a sharp pain shooting through her arm. Her eyes were slowly turning a deathly black, that she knew.
