Yumi rolled her eyes like the heads when they hit the floor. "Security's shitty..." She said, walking towards a pair of double doors.
Once she kicked them in, a man stood up slowly. "Well, looks like Arbitro's puppet has arrived!" He laughed, choked, then laughed some more.
She huffed faintly, seeing what he was working on. It was the body of a girl that she had seen roaming the streets, as well as some of the school... Her memory told her that this was Yori. The girl was laid open like a dissected frog... The bones were mixed around, and she looked like something that someone had transmuted, and failed at bringing back to life. "Better me than END, am I right?" She said, twirling her katana.
"No, I wouldn't say that..." The man laughed again, taking a scalpel out of the body, as well as a syringe filled with what looked to be tranquilizer fluid.
This one's been hitting the novicaine pretty hard... She thought as she prepared her weapon. "Renosuke Maeda, I hereby set you a cause of death..."
The man charged at her, stumbling a little. The smile on his face screamed that he wasn't really sober. "No, no, no! You see, you're the one who'll die here!" He shouted.
Once he became deathly close, Yumi ducked under him and charged at the body he was operating on. It had begun to rise and choke, not very humane at all... She riled her blade into it, then flung it at her target. While he was distracted, she riled her blade through his chest, as well as the body. But... She got a foot to the face.
She flew back, slamming into the operating table. Upon regaining her sight, she saw the tall man that she knew very well... "Taiga!" She shouted. "Don't you have a fight to clear up downtown?!"
"No. Besides, you've gotten my target. I'll just bring him in, since you did all of the work for me." The taller boy chuckled and picked the two bodies up over his shoulders.
"Koganei!" She screamed, throwing whatever wasn't nailed down at him.
"You'd better hurry and get out, Wolf. This place was set to blow if Renosuke was killed." He began to run.
She screamed profanities at him as she chased after him, jumping from wall to wall to catch up. "That's my kill, dammit!"
Taiga ran out of the front door, followed by Yumi.
The mercenary panted as she exited the building, and looked around for him... He was nowhere in sight. How could someone disappear in such a short time?! Suddenly...
An explosion rang through the town, sending the lab that she exited up into a cloud of smoke, and sanding her flying forward and face planting into the road in front.
