Her aching leg now released, she shot a small glare to the dog before moving over to the boy, obeying the King's orders. This was hardly fair - She had a bow- A bow - for a weapon, while the boy had a full, actual sword. She narrowed her eyes slightly at the Ruler, but took her stance. She placed her violin on a random table at the side which luckily hadn't been crushed in the battle, and held her bow as one would with a sword. Swallowing the lump in her throat, she charged forwards.
Derizon raised his own sword as the girl charged forwards, taking a small step forwards to steady himself against the blow. This violinist wasn't experienced with battle, she knew this, for the girl didn't hold her sword properly, and was charging forwards without a second thought. A expert he may not be, but it was obvious for even a non-warrior to know. Easily side-stepping her, he used the advantage and landed a blow on the female's shoulders. It was enough to hurt and maybe make that spot ache, but not enough to kill her. This was a spar, after all.
Viiul grimaced, quickly spinning back to face the boy. Humiliation. That was what the wretched Ruler wanted to do. Humiliate her. She gritted her teeth, trying to ignore the embarrassment, attempting to hit Derizon again. She knew she was not a warrior, but she gave it her all. She moved her gaze to the floor when the boy blocked her with his sword, and she tried to move to the side, taking her bow away from the sword's weight, but Derizon moved faster. Quickly spinning, he caught her off guard and knocked her to the ground using the hilt of his sword, at the same time knocking the bow far from her reach. He proceeded to aim his sword at her neck, not saying anything, his eyes boring down onto her, brown clashing against green.
A clap came from the back, where the King stood. He muttered a something under his breath, and pointing his finger to the side, the guards moved away from the room, leaving the group alone. "Nice job." He smirked, walking over to the two and stopping a few distances away. There was a small silence. "Viiul, you're out." A confused look came upon the girl's features, holding herself up with her elbow. Derizon stepped back, lowering his sword to his side as he glanced at Fereda, then over to the dog and the blue haired boy. The Violinist slowly stood up, immediately walking to retrieve her bow. Once she did so, she moved in front of the Ruler, eyes falling to the ground as she got down on one knee. "Apologies, my King. I'm afraid I do not know what you speak of." She muttered, trying her best to ignore the others.
