Agro couldn't help but smirk at Noxion's response, flicking an ear towards the yearling as they pressed on. "Heh. Tell me about it, kid." He huffed to the apprentice, shaking his head. "I'm tellin' ya, that kid's gonna be the death of him if he keeps focusing all his attention on it like that..." The Cattle Dog murmured, careful to keep his voice low to prevent Rogue from overhearing.

Noxion's head bobbled in agreement to Agro's words. "And if he has to chose between us and the kid, I wonder who he'd side wif." The pup replied, spitting out a piece of gravel that had tripped his tongue. "Wonder how that got in there." Smudging the gravel onto the ground, Noxion's tongue felt dry and cracked. "How thar (far) is the water from here? My tongueth's ( tongue_ gettin' dry!" The pup exclaimed, rolling his tongue out of his mouth as he spoke.

 Agro raised his head to take in a whiff of air. "Can't be too much farther now. I'm pickin' up on the scent of water up ahead." He responded, lowering his head back down again. "Keep it together, kid." He added, refocusing on the path ahead.

Noxion glanced at Agro. "Keep it together?" The pup frowned, sticking his tongue back inside of his mouth. "Let's hope there's no Walkers or annoying pests there." He grumbled, flicking his ear as he glared at the child. "Like that one." He muttered, only audible to those around him. Suddenly, something sharp pierced his pad as he took another step forward. "Ow!" he yipped, halting to a stop to inspect his paw. The butt of a thorn was stuck in his pad with blood trickling out. " -!" He muttered, clamping his jaws around the thorn and giving it a fierce tug. His face wrinkled with pain every time he tried to pull out the thorn. " - it." He growled, shaking his paw as he glanced around. Limping, he caught up with the group, and he decided to nurse it when they reached the water.

Sledge looked at the alpha and nodded her tail continuing to thrash side to side as she followed commands, traveling to a water source to wash themselves and the human. She felt almost sorry for the human but she would lag them behind in time, shrugging it off the padded behind Agro and Noxion hearing their conversation but she chose to ignore it.


Pasha followed the group hearing the alphas words, she decided to walk a litte closer to the group this time. Glancing at the scruffy human hanging from the shepherds back. Letting out a sigh she glanced around seeing if any walkers we'ree following, but none. Shrugging she turned back around and continued onward.

Rogue snarled and stopped his his tracks. "Young apprentice and my 'Loyal' beta" He snarled. "Shut the hell up for I'm going to kick you out of this pack and Sledge will fill your places!" He raised his paw and slashed it at the apprentice. "It will be more than a slash if you don't shut your mouth." He huffed. "And besides, the pack needs a good cleaning..."

As Agro began to speak a response to Noxion, Rogue suddenly snapped. He flinched and jumped back, flattening his ears while the Alpha harshly scolded them. "I- Uh- I was just-" He stammered, tail tucked between his legs and eyes darting back and forth on the ground, searching for some sort of explanation. Finally finding nothing to say, he cleared his throat and straightened up. "Yes, Alpha." He simply responded in a strong voice, though Rogue's threat had slightly shaken him.

     Denarii padded behind them with her head drooping, longing for a chance to rest. Nevertheless, he pressed on with them. Suddenly, the Alpha snapped at the Beta and Apprentice, making the Canaan Dog jump in surprise at how suddenly it came. The whole pack stopped while Rogue disciplined the two, and Denarii watched, ears and tail down.

Rogue decided there had to be a punishment for the two pack members even if it was his beta. "You two are walking at the end of the pack, if another pack member reports you talking about the child or me behind our backs, you two either have the chance of getting kicked out or no eating any food we get in these past two days." He growled and walked forward starting to lead the pack. "And you better take what I said seriously, because I mean it..."

Agro stared at Rogue, flattening his ears. He couldn't help but subtly pull his lips back from his canines in a low growl. "In all due respect, alpha, that doesn't seem like a reason for this kind of punishment..." He said in a rumbling, but quiet growl, trying to keep himself from snapping too much towards the Alpha.

"Do not disrespect..." He huffed and glared at his beta. "And half, when this child dies with us we're eating the meat." He growled and padded faster to stay in front. "You may not be getting some when a walker kills the child..." He muttered so no one but the beta could here.
