Denarii returned the smile, glancing up at the large shepherd. She stumbled to a sudden stop at the top of the hill once he stopped in front of her. Veering around the Alpha, she trotted up to stand beside him. Her jaw dropped in shock at what she saw at the bottom of the hill. Hundreds of walkers headed towards the burning city, just as Rogue had predicted. "Run!" She yipped, finishing Rogue's word for him before wheeling around on her hind legs and bounding off a couple strides in the opposite direction of the walkers. She skidded to a stop to glance over her shoulder at the pack. "Well come on!" She barked desperately since the Alpha was too shocked to order a command.
Agro marched on until he finally stumbled across a murky pond. Hopping in chest deep, he let the water lap at his bloody leg, shaking at the stinging sensation it caused. The stinging soon faded into a numbing feeling, drawing a sigh of relief from the Cattle Dog's maw. After lapping up a couple sips of the water, he trudged out, still unable to bear weight on his hind leg for obvious reasons. As he shook out his short coat, an all-too-familiar scent made him scrunch his muzzle in disgust. Walkers. At least five of them were hobbling through the woods just up the hill, headed in the direction of the city. Agro froze, his eyes locked on the creatures. Remaning motionless, he knew, was the best way to not draw attention, and fortunately for him, it worked. The walkers marched through without noticing him.
