Yumi held on tightly as Mimodae huffed a faint hiss of a roar. He turned to her. "Are you alright?" He said, digging his claws into a rock bridge and using it to fly higher.
"I'm fine, Dae." She said, speaking over the rushing wind. She was used to her dragon's random corkscrews. "Don't worry!"
He nodded, pushing off of it and corkscrewing passed the fury, wings tucked in close to his body. As soon as he opened his wings, a mass of shadows flooded into the canyon below, and he dove in. Now, he was in his element, only putting his spines into the open like a shark in the ocean. He slithered through the shroud, unseen.
