fengari stopped, turning her head over to see mau attempting to flatline a soldier. wait...I know that cat.....he was with us when falitna left! I can't let- her thoughts were cut as a guard pounced on her, landing back-first onto the ground as the guard pinned her onto the ground.
"weak slave, think you can outrun me"
on great, the last thing I need is a....wait......I can pretend that I'm dead and when the guard thinks that I died, i can attack him and and then kill she thought, holding her breath as she forced herself to be motionless, her eyes closed. The guard looked at fengari in confustion, pawing her to see if she's dead.
"what is this? How did I kill that useless-" he was interrupted as fengari opened her eyes, quickly unsheathing her claws before kicking him off of her with her back paws. She got back up, facing the gray foe with her ice-blue eyes blazing with anger. The Tom was about to get back up when fengari ran towards him, her white ears pinned against her head as she ignored the crowd of escaping slaves. killing one of mau's guards......will be just one less cat to deal with she thought, her eyes narrowed as she leaped at the guard, knocking him off of his feet as the white-earred feline pushed him. The guard got back up, his claws unsheathed as he lunged as fengari, his teeth locked onto her torn ear as the two wrestled on the ground, reaching for the upper paw. Closely fengari could see that the Tom was missing his helmet. "you forgot something" she hissed, raking her unsheathed paw across the guard's face as the two kept on wrestling. The guard's eyes widen, looking at fengari before pulling at her ear, ripping the ear off. He spit it out and looked at fengari, who was yowling in pain as the guard ripped one of her ears off.
"I will find my helmet once I'm-"
his words were cut as fengari quickly grabbed onto his throat with her teeth, closing her eyes as she heard the immature foe made a choking sound before becoming limp. She reopened her eyes, seeing that the Tom was dead with his eyes wide open. Quickly, the one-earred she-cat dropped the lifeless cat and ran back into the group of retreating slaves, ignoring the blood that poured from where her ear used to be.
