Portal Issue

so i've been working on my first map for a couple of days, and i'm trying to make a portal connect to cape, but for some reason it's on the outside of my world (not in map maker) but in map maker it's totally fine. So now you spawn in on the corner, and have no way to get back out
i'd appreciate some help please...
