Can't use my ~ for my username in the log in or game

So my username is .~::EPIC::~. And when I am on my desktop I can get in just fine. But I recently downloaded FeralHeart onto a laptop. And so when I went to log in my ~ would not show up. I was allowed in on a account a friend let me use for a moment, on the laptop of course, but when I went to type the ~ again it did not turn up. The key works just fine on other things like paint, wordpad, and the FeralHeart site. So I don't know what is wrong with it. Should I just make a new account? Because the reason I put FeralHeart onto the laptop is because it would no longer work on my desktop. So I was wondering if making a new account would just be easier then trying to fix the problem. Please help. All suggestions will be tried. >.<" It is just bugging me and I was wondering if it could be fixed.

I'm not sure really. If you look in the tutorials area, Jazz has made a topic containing what you should not put. Part of it:

3. Does your username or password have any unusual symbols such as ?$!@*-_ ect.? This can mess things up for some people. Make a new account if you're having trouble with symbols. If you make a new one, please try to stick with a-z letters, nothing capitalized.

In this case, you have played before with that username, or have you not? If you have not, then I suggest you make a new account. I'm not sure as I mentioned, to be honest.

Hmm, like Oreo said, you can't have any strange symbols in your user/password.

Maybe it's just how it shows up on the laptop. The laptop's layout may be a bit different. Also, it could be how you downloaded FH. Really, all I think you could do would be to uninstall FH and then reinstall from this website. Also, if you ever need help getting FH back on your desktop, feel free to PM me or post here.

Murr, odd, because I have that symbol in my name, and I'm able to log in just fine. Is your keyboard on the English setting?
