Flynn busied himself sorting through the information, files upon files of shifters, some he knew. He sorted out the files for each of the members of the group. He snatched up his file, reading. "This is crazy...they have detailed descriptions of our dreams and nightmares,..our health records. They have memories listed..how?" He muttered before standing and snatching up the files. He went for the door, but froze as a stack of files caught his eye. "Subject S", he read aloud, grabbing the file up. He threw it open and began reading, "The DNA from the subject has been a success. It has been manipulated to be mixed with Subject K's. The DNA has grown together and produced a fully grown.." he paused, his face going pale. He looked down at the file again, reading the room number before going to the door. He peeked out of the door before jogging out.
Making his way through the now, less guarded building, he found the room. It wasn't locked, as he pushed it open to reveal large cells lining the walls. Glancing over, he eyed the black emergency release button, clicking it and opening all the cages. The doors flew open as the captives, mostly teens, spilled out, running past him and out of the room, but one stepped out of her cage, pausing in the middle of the room to face him. She held a raggedy teddy bear close to her chest. She had bright blonde hair and blue eyes, her hair matted as dirt patches covered her rosey cheeks. She wore a torn, pink dress. As their eyes met, Flynn's lit up with a familiar blue, but the scary part, was so did her's. The scientists mixed his DNA with someone elses, creating a fetus. His child. His daughter. Oddly, she stared at him, as though she knew, "My name's Kayla.", she stated, her voice tiny and feminine. Flynn froze as she spoke. A sudden alarm echoed through the walls, causing Kayla to jump slightly before running towards Flynn. Instinctively, Flynn fell to his knees as she threw herself into his arms, Flynn holding her tightly before lifting her up, cooing comforting words as he began his way towards the exit, running into the forest as he escaped.
