The General watched her through cold eyes, and she squirmed under his deadly gaze. "Alright." She let out a breath "But, I expect to see you in smithing house for branding tomorrow." Sam nodded and then took a step back "I will take him to the barracks... Sir..." He gave her a nod and she grabbed David by his arm, pulling him out of the room "I know what you're thinking David, and it's not like that. So please hear me out before you proceed to kill me." She pulled him down the halls, every few seconds looking behind them " He doesn't know that I didn't kill Flynn, he thinks I'm still loyal. If I'm allowed to be your 'trainer' then no one will actually brainwash you." She stopped for a second, looking at the split hall, one had a sign that said Barracks, the other said Officer's Quarters. She pulled him down the second hall towards her rooms.
" And if you want to kill him so bad, then pretend to be a brainless soldier that only obeys commands, rise up in power and attract followers. Then bring the sword down and you have the whole army at your fingertips. And if you want me dead, go ahead and kill me right now, just make sure it looks like I died fighting, not running away." She said, handing him a knife.
