I Made Another Art!!

My First Vask Drawing  


Hullur! My last art post I posted was Critique Accepted! As is this one. I have been studying anatomy on the wolf. Especially arm and leg areas, and I think I have improved. This is over all my favorite drawing with the WHOLE wolf body in it. I am very proud of this one, and my layering especially. Anyway, onto my artsy. Make sure to critique it on what you think I did good on(or improved on) and what I still need to work on! I know his fur is lighter than usual, but I felt that his actual color would make his details stand out LESS. Anyway, get to looking at my art!


Time Taken: 1 hour and 30 minutes || Drawing Tablet Used: Wacom Bamboo Create || System: Paint Tool Sai
Things I Think I Did Well On:
(1) Me figuring out how to copy and paste a background (2) The feet *wiggles claws around* (3) Shading on ground(some on jacket ends) (4) I have better anatomy
Things I Think I Stunk On:
(1) THE BACK LEGS GAH  (2) I haven't really done a picture with both sides of the face and the nose. I've always had trouble fitting the last part of the face in.  (3) What are these 'straight lines' you speak of?

Now! Comment about it. I would love to hear if I did any better things in this one then my last art I posted. Should I make an art thread? IDK! You tell me. Any feedback you could possibly give helps me out a ton! Thanks!

As Ms. Shenidan stated, I'm sure if ye' keep practicin' with yer anatomy and shadin', then ye'll improve more and more with each piece. Speakin' of which, I can already see much improvement when comparin' this piece from the one prior. If ye'd like to open yer own art thread, then the decision is left solely to ye' ma'am. It isn't technically my place to decide something as such though I wish ye' luck with yer further progression nevertheless.

That age old question. Hmm. I still have yet to perfect a said 'straight' line.


Also, I can certainly tell that you are practicing as the others before myself had said. Your improvement in this work compared to the other is very significant when you pick out all the details. Just keep practicing and you'll have your style perfected before you even think you can, It's truly a miracle how fast we learn things. It may seem tedious at times, however practice is the basis of art. Keep working your doing real well for just starting out. +Floof for your hard work.

Good try! Keep studying anatomy! It will improve in a snap! Trust me, look at this piece I did in February last year. Now, look at my recent finished digital piece. Improvement! All I did was study anatomy and practice! Practice is the key! Keep it up!
