Chris was born on the streets, as a young boy, his father was arrested for drug abuse, same for his mother. Chris isn't sure when his parents are getting out, and mostly doesn't care. It wasn't as if they were around much anyway.
Now, he scavenges for the supplies he needs. Food and water mostly. Sometimes he steals from shops, but mostly only when he is bored. Other than that Chris is just a normal 14-year old boy trying to live in this world like everyone else.

Lifting his jacket over his head, Chris sighed. He could hear people chatting in the distance, sure we had lost another. The whispers of people around him gave Chris the knowledge that it was John who passed. Although the young lad didn't know him personally that well, he had exchanged glances from time to time. Though, that didn't matter. We are a family here, and when we loose someone, everyone feels it, even if you had only known their name. As the young teen pulled his jacket off over his head, he sat up against the cold brick wall. Skid Row, many people of the "upper class" -non homeless folk- don't bother coming to this part of the city. We're road kill to most of them. But eh, it could be worse...

Chris stretched his arms up over his head while letting of a loud yawn. As he got to his feet Ven came running up to him. "It was John... I'm already hearing people talk about a service for him tomorrow or something..." He looked to the ground. "So I hear..." Whenever the family looses someone, Chris isn't sure how one should handle it, after all, it's just someone you get used to over time.
