What are your favorite names for characters?

Hmm...I've got a few names I've always liked.
-Azerin (As- er- in) (Please don't steal)
-Kelur
-Mocha
-Brooklyn
Those are the only ones that I've always liked (and probably always will!)

I tend to use a large array of names, but I have a few that I often use when I'm too lazy to make a random name:

I made up all of them, in my mind.
While I'm pretty sure all of them have been used in books or whatever, in my world, they're mine. XD

Welp, my personaly made up name, which I like and tend to use a lot. (Reamember I made it up! No lie!)
I made up this name: Zesel.
It is pronauced: Zecsele.

I loved that name since the day I made it up.
So that's it.
Also, I like mostly made up names then Googling some.
I use my head to create a name.
Thats it!

Hah, one again I've gotta go with these two (plus one):

Gringo - The character itself was based off of a stray dog I met during a mission trip to Peru that the local kids named "Gringo." (The word Gringo is basically what they call white people/Americans.) XD

And then:


Jackdaw - Well, I just think it sounds cool- plus he's named after Edward Kenway's ship on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, so that just triples the "awesome" value on his name. X3


Finally,

Molek - His name has the perfect meaning for his personality (Cannibalistic, sadistic psychopath). "Molek" was the name of one of the false gods the people of Canaan worshiped during Old Testament times. The way they'd worship was by building a bronze statue of Molek with its arms outstretched. They'd build a fire below the arms and wait for the metal to become searing hot, then they'd place their own young children on the arms to be sacrificed- burnt alive, as they worshiped. Pretty messed up name for a pretty messed up character, aye?

I find this really funny because my favorite pup character is named Ashur. I honestly didn't steal it, I'm sorry q.q                                                                                                                                                                       ( NOT Ashfur!)

For my names, I usually give them a Japanese name. IDK. But in English they're usually some sort of element, or their own species. For some reason, I like names that start with a K.

Hmmm... I don't usually reuse names among characters, but when I choose names, my favorites tend to start with either the letters G, T or S -- such as Shinnam, Gundahar, Silvius, Tevye. When I have a language in mind, I like picking from either Ainu or, for some reason, Latin. I guess I like having a lot of vowels in my names. Cx
