Opinions on piercing and tattoo's.

We kind of had this conversation before somewhat recently but I think tattoos and piercings are great. Though I'd only ever have mine done professionally.

Like I have a nose stud and my tongue pierced right now, but I still want to get my eyebrow and lip pierced as well. I also have my ears pierced in three spots.

I also want like 70 different tattoos which I'm still working on getting. Probably won't get there for another year yet, but ay, I'm looking forward to that. I want an Aries symbol on my wrist, something on my ribs, collarbone, shoulder... too much stuff.

I don't do gauges or anything myself, and I'm not overly fond of them, but to each their own. I also prefer kind of smaller things so that it's more balanced, studs as opposed to rings if there are many piercings, but it depends on the person.

I have pierced my ears - one ear has 1 piercing, and the other has 3, and I have a piercing on my upper lip - kinda looking like a mole (you've seen it).

I also have 2 tattoos - one on my shoulder blade and one big one covering most of my calf.
They both mean something yeah, one more then the other.
The one on my calf is a tattoo of a dragon necklace that my friend Lova used to wear when she was alive. Although I decidede to make it more in tribal-style rather then a 3D looking necklace piece because it just would look a bit strange.
The one on my shoulderblade is a dreamcatcher.. Because..yea.. xD

There will be a 3rd one, but I want to draw it myself so I need to really take some time with it.

My lip one didn't hurt.
I'd say you don't feel it.
You're mainly nervous before you pierce it. ^^
It'll be a bit sensitive and Swollen at first, but putting ice on it helps.
Those who pierces their tongue after I had my lip pierced, had an ice lolly. :3

It's alright, you're not the only one, mate. Some people like their body to be in a more natural state, others like to spruce things up a bit.

And it's all up to personal preference.
I don't like nose or tongue piercings, on others or myself.
Nor do I like the cheek ones much.
But I'd never judge someone for having them. - it's up to them in the end. :3
Nor would I judge someone for not liking tattoos or piercings.
It's just how they are.

Some people have full-body tattos, which I don't find too nice.
But a sleeve or few tattoos that aren't too spread out can be nice.
An example being a friend of mine who has certain things, bands, his wife's name, a dragon, etc on his arms, but not fully xovering them.
Another being a friend of ours who has a message written just below her collarbones.
If it's a quote, I haven't really figured out yet.
She also has a couple of tattoos on ger hands and arms
Peraonally don't like some of them, but others can be quite cool.
They tend to be memories and mean something to her.
Also a rib one, which I hadn't seen at first, but did like.
As mentioned.. It variates and can be quite tasteful.

If I wanted another piercing, it would have to be an ear piercing. However, I'm fine with the one ear piercing I already have. As for tattoos, no thank you! I love my natural skin just the way it is! ^_^

I like tattoos and piercings... to an extent. I prefer smaller tattoos that can be hidden from view when needed (especially if you have a job, or are going for a job, that requires any body tattoos to be hidden). I like tattoos that are nice, tasteful, and cool. I really don't like big full body tattoos that cover a big majority of you skin. If people want to do that to their body, who am I to tell them they can't? It's their choice.

If I were to ever get a tattoo it would be something small. I would either get a tattoo of little fox paw prints, or a hummingbird in the design of one of my favorite artists, Michael Parkes. But I probably won't get a tattoo anytime soon.

I like piercings too, mostly ear piercings. I do have two sets of ear piercings. I got my first when I was 9 years old, and my second when I was 15. Ear piercings is as far as I will go for now. Nose piercings are nice, but I don't think it would suit me. Plus if someone punched me in the nose while I had a nose piercing in.... e.o  Eesh! I don't want to think about it. I certainly wouldn't get any tongue piercings. That sound painful... plus, from what a few people have told me, tongue piercings serve a very naughty purpose for certain... pleasures. I won't get into to that here.

But anyway, I have no problem with tattoos or piercings.
