Nik did not sleep well.  He laid under a large tree with his bright green eyes half closed and misted.  He was unable to find a save place to sleep and barely slept in fear of being attacked.  But now that it was daytime the chances of being attacked where higher and he needed to get moving.  He slowly pulled himself up and opened his mouth in a large yawn.  He shook himself and patches of moss and grass flew off his brown pelt.

Aki's dreams were horrible that night. She had been attacked violently by many contaminated, too many to even try to fight. Eventually, the pain grew to a nonexistent level, or so she thought. Aki was turned into a contaminated herself, with no mind and forced to live in agony. But the dream broke as daylight hit her face. With narrowed eyes, Aki slowly sat up, and eventually stepped out of the shallow bramble-surrounded dip that she had used for a temporary shelter. Feeling hungry and thirsty, she sniffed for prey that wasn't contaminated, eventually finding a family of mice, along with a small rabbit. She still wasn't satisfied after eating them. //But it will work for now// Aki thought, before lapping up a small puddle, and keeping a normal-ish pase.

Ambre tucked her tail between her legs, her ears pinned down. She still was scared of the "meanies" that lurked the forests, but she knew she was safe in the cave system. Ambre felt rather uncomfortable being around strangers she hardly knew or trusted, but she knew that if they weren't infected, they were the closest to safety she would have. Sneezing a bit from the dust particles, she was startled by it and landed on her rump clumsily.

Akira

As she glanced down into the deserted city small shapes caught her attention, ones that stood tall but slouched over-seeming to stumble and trip as they wondered around the city, some even heading towards the forest whilst overs just stood and glanced. Right then Akira knew it, they were the flesh-eatinf creatures known to many as Zombies. Her skin crawled slightly at the thought and even the sight of these hideous creatures who would soon be venturing up into the forest in search for their next meal. She could hear faint moans in the distance which caused her ears to shoot up-fully erect on her head-they were getting nearer. They would soon be arriving into the forest and everyone and everything would be in danger.

Sighing, Akira shuffled to her haunches and sat for a few seconds-her tail sweeping across the group as the scent of stale blood wafted into her snout, causing it to wrinkle back in disgust. A growl rumbled from her throat "I swear one day yous will all be torn apart!" she spat as she lifted to her paws-just at that second one came clambering over the hill and walked directly towards her causing a grin the creep across her face "Try to keep up!" she barked wagging her tail, turning then leaping into a quick spring.

Paws thudded the foliage of the forest as the large she-wolf bounded carelessly through, weaving in and out of the many trees that stood in her way. The moans had began to grow more faint and she was almost into the heart of the forest-her heart racing as she skidded to a halt and turned. Eyes narrowed as she glanced in the direction the best was predicted to come from-all fours spread equally apart and her tail violently thrashing side to side. Eventhough these beasts were hard to kill, Akira found it a little easier than most thanks to her brute strength and size-although that wasn't always an advantage. Waiting patiently the moans began to grow closer and closer and closer, the figure soon clamvering closer and closer.

Ambrenio peeked her head out of the cave system, feeling shivers rack her whole body. She pondered absently on how long this plague would stay, and how the wolves were going to kill the meanies. "I wish mommy was shtill here.." She whimpered, sitting down and still looking out of the cave system. "She turned into a big meanie and twied to kill me.. and dada.. he twied to escape but mawmee got him.." Ambre said to herself, being reminded of the past. "I hate da two leg hoomans.. dey made dis happen.."

The pup let out a sigh before stumbling into a corner, curling into a small ball and shaking out of fear, worry, and coldness.

Nik's ears perked up and listened for anything that could be threatening.  His ears moved backward in fear for he had heard something conserning.  Low, strange growls that he recognized as contaminated.  But he also heard a fast moving animal, too fast to be a contaminated.  He stayed in his place because of the chance of finding another animal.  Sure enough a brownish grey female wolf had appeared, running.  But behind her was a large, white male wolf.  His ears were back and his head was low.  He had many bald patches and Nik could see the flees even from the distance.  One of the wolf's ears had been torn off and his eyes seemed to bulge out of his sockets.
"Watch out, behind you!" Nik warned.

Akira

As Akira skidded to a halt she heard the sudden warn from something near by-raising a brow she turned her head, eyes locking upon a male brute who stood hidden, only just visable. Dipping her head in a thanks she only had a matter of time to turn around to see the creature lunge towards her, growling she quickly pulled her body to the ground causing the best to miss her completely. Turning to now face the creature she growled-lips curled up and saliva dripping from her maw her and the white wolf began to circle. Tail whipping to and fro violently and her eyes narrowed-the two went into combat.

Raising onto her hind quarters Akira began clawing at the canids face, as he was to. Batting violently at its face she managed to grip onto its ear-but was quickly shaken off. Being launched across the air Akira hit the ground with a thud, then rolling onto her side. Lifting to her paws she gave her fur a shake ridding it of any dust. Glancing at the white wolf she grinned-spitting flood from her mouth that had leaked from his ear-a horrible taste it left.

Standing still she watched, the mutant charging towards her in a vicious way-eyes widened with rage and jaws chomping together viciously. As he grew nearer she stepped to the side. Unable to stop the dog skidded forward, seeing this as an advantage Akira hurled herself into the side of the infected which caused it to stumbled and hit the ground with quite some force as it yelped. Getting her enemy on the floor was an advantage and she took this chance.

Quickly, the tri-coloured wolf launched herself towards the white canine, now standing above it she began. Starting off she began to tear into the dogs legs to effect it walking-her sharp fangs easily piercing the skin as she violently shook her head. A hard thud was sent to Akiras head causing her to stumble back with a yelp-blood now oozing from a cut in the side of her head. Anger had now filled the she-wolf and she was ready to kill. Growling "Bad mistake!" she growled. Lunging forward Akira had managed to scwobble with the brute and now grip onto his neck. In the process of this brutal fight Akira received many scratched, bumps and bruises but luckly no bites-thanks to her paw pressed against the creatures head. Gripping tighter the struggling soon stopped.

Feeling the enemies muscles un-tense she backed away, no movement now what so ever. Blood seemed to have coated the white fur of the beast both his own blood and her, as she had to. With her tongue flopped out of her maw Akira turned away from the lifeless body leaving it be a pain shooking through her paw which she chose to ignore. "Thank you" she spoke to the brute who had warned her of her attacker.

Ambre perked her ears up, trying to listen to any commotion that was possibly going on. She sighed, hearing nothing but the droplets of water falling from the ceiling and plopped on her side. "I wish I could still go outside." She mumbled, letting her eyelids droop, falling into a deep sleep. The young wolf was unaware of the fight that was going on, surprisingly.

"Are you ok?" Nik said and he stepped forward to see her more closely.  She was banged up a bit but she seemed alright.

[Quick question, do they already know where the cave is..? Because Ambre is there already.. Yerp :3]
--
The slightly reddish she-wolf's ears perked as the noises of fighting died down, she stopped and stared in the direction of where the fight had taken place. Then, taking wary steps, Aki moved away, but then broke into a full on run because there may have been more infected around. She rested near a tree, drinking the water, although she didn't need it; Aki was built for speed. Getting up again, a plump rabbit crossed her path as she was running. //Strange// Aki thought, and slowed in hopes of catching it. She moved around it, and eventually, leaped onto it and killed it. After smelling the meat for freshness, Aki ate it while glancing around nervously, then started running again through the trees.
