Jupiter

Jupiter looked up from his grooming as a human with a white tigress began to talk with a human outside the cage. A tiger and a human. That's a unique pair. In all my time I hadn't seen anything like it. The large male thought to himself. His handler then appeared, bringing a vile paste and some water. "Here Jupiter. In a recent fight you were cut by a sword on your tail. I have to give you this.." He bent down and applied some of the paste to his wound. Jupiter roared and clawed the floor of his cage. "I know, I know." His handler gave him a cube of meat, and spread the paste. His handler, who was named Cato, stood up and pat Jupiter's shoulder. "Now don't lick off the paste, it will help you." Jupiter grunted as Cato left, saying he was going to get something to eat and drink.

Athena

"Go ahead, tell me that I'm not good enough. Tell me I can't do it. Because I'll show you over and over again that I can!"

Athena turned her head towards the canids cage as his handler seemed to be fussing around, then putting a thick chain on the creature and leading him out. The lioness couldn't help but let a grin slide from ear to ear as he passed-dipping her head in good luck as she watched him wait upon the opening of the door. Soon enough the large metal door lifted and the bright lights of the arena shone into the dull lit caged area. Growling as the light blinded her Athena blinked her eyes adjusting them quickly to the bright lights. Eyes focused ob the arena as she glanced around at the crowds-today it was full and no surprise they were looking for a good show. The humans began to cheer but the doors quickly slammed shut.

The room had once again returned to its origional darkness and everything had suddenly went silent. Even in the arena it was silent. But soon enough the sudden roars of the crowd had begun and obviously the fight had started-the lionesses ears twitched as she heard the sudden screams of the audience. A smile grew across her face as the atmosphere suddenly changed -soon it would be her in the ring and she couldn't wait.

But her attention was quickly turned away from the direction of the stadium and her eyes locked upon the tanned, dark haired male she recognised as her trainer. Tyran. He seemed to be checking up on the lioness as she waited patiently for her round-entering her cage. "Just going to check you for any wounds" he spoke in a strong tone as he began to examin the lioness. Athena was use to this by now so she just stood patiently until he was finished and everything seemed fine. "All clear girl, you'll be on in 10..." he smiled and wondered off to get her chains. Nodding her head she let a quiet roar rumble up her throat. Her attention resting upon the door she would soon be approaching.

[Howl at the Moon]

Ares watched as a hyena walked in from the Stadium. He wanted to be in there, but he went after a lioness. He never doubted her, unlike the others. His trainer walked in and greeted him by petting his mane and giving him cubes of meat, Ares' favorite treat. He then got ready for Ares to go into the stadium.

The spotted hyena sneered at the words of the white tiger as she defended her opinion on the human who seemed to be in her constant company- words to which he scrunched his broad muzzle and tipped his head aside at. "Pff, still doesn't rectify them. They're still nothing more than bipedal meat sacks!" Vulcan barked, giving a vertical iron bar of his cage wall and hard snap with his jaws- head sideways to do so. As his teeth violently clamped down quickly on the iron, an obvious loud clanking noise echoed through the distilled room. As instantly as he snapped onto it, he released it after a couple gnawing, grinding bites to it, and straightened up. It was a simple motion purely to express his opinion on the matter. "Stupid cats. In this place, building friendships- especially with them will get you nowhere. It's all about defense and paying your dues." Vulcan mindlessly muttered to himself as he restlessly paced in tight circles around his square cage.


The spotted creature was laying sprawled out at the rear of his cage again, a decent sized bone from his most recently earned meal held vertical with his forepaws and his cranium tilted sideways so that he could blankly gnaw on the end of it with his bone-crunching molars. While normally he preferred to devour the bones all together with the meal, he often saved a larger one as a pass-time object for when boredom overwhelmed him. In a dark place like this, there was little else for stimulation. Vulcan's strong back molars made mind numbing grinding sounds in the quiet room as he absent mindedly gnawed away, not even aiming for consumption- rather something to do other than lay there. His rounded ears suddenly snapped forward as a shaft of light pierced the black containment room, a sign that the humans were here again. This time they stopped at the cage of a lioness- a familiar creature, though Vulcan had never bothered to converse with the she-cat. Kitty cat must be up next. He figured, a crooked smirk flashing upon his face.

Athena

"Go ahead, tell me that I'm not good enough. Tell me I can't do it. Because I'll show you over and over again that I can!"

The sudden sound of clanking and grinding metal caused the she-cat to whip her head around, seeing the very familiar canid of this stadium-who seemed to be latched onto the bars of his cage. It seemed a few of the caged up animals had gotten into a slight argument-cats more than likely ganging up on the hyena, although she wasn't one to but in as she enjoyed listening to arguments of fellow creatures-but she knew it would be hard for the spotted brute, being the only canine.

But, Athenas head was soon dragged from the situation and towards a tall, muscular, tanned man who was heading towards her cage-holding in his hand the heavy chain link collar and lead to lead his companion into the arena. It was one of the last fights of the night and Athena was ready to put on a show. Like most of the creatures here she was rather well knwon in the ring for killing several humans in battle-and now was another chance to shine. The mans foot steps echoed through the dark caged area as he hurried towards the cage, the collar and leash dangling from his hand-soon enough he stopped and looked down at the feline.

Instead of speaking Tyran only had to do a few gestures to communicate with the lioness-something him and Athena had worked on over the years. The clicking of the locks sounded as he pushed in the key and twisted it-the bolts instantly coming undone and the door slowly swung in towards the cage allowing the human to step in, his heavy feet banging against the base of the cage. Athena had now stopped pacing her cage and had stood infron of the large man-her tail violently whipping back and forth as a rumbled escaped her maw-a way lions usually communicated. Putting a paw forward she dipped her head "You ready Ana? This fights got to be a good one..." he spoke his deep voice echoing. Roaring quietly she nudged the males hand and quickly enough he pushed the collar up over her head and lead her out.

Her paws flattened against the cold ground of the dark room as she slowly stalked towards the closed door-her muscles rippling as she looked at each caged creature as she passed, now growing slightly tired of their bickering she couldn't wait to have a good fight-which was soon to come. Soon the duo stopped infront of the steel door-as the familiar voice of the commontator/announcer sounded introducing the she-cat. Lifting her head she looked up towards Tyran, who towered over her-looking upon her with a straight face. Tilting her head he gave a nod to his head-then faced the slowly opening door, she turned also.

Light had now showered into the dark room lighting it almost fully. As she glanced around the well lit stadium she watched as many people jumped out of their seats cheering and bellowing the lionesses name-the commentator saying some rather appealing things about hern but the danger of his words made her seem like a vicious killer-just what those humans wanted. The door had quickly slammed behind her and the crowd soon settled down. One more introduction "And here comes Athenas competator, a vicious fighter who goes by the name of Makou" many people seemed to boo this being and few seemed to cheer-but this didn't distract the lioness. The weight of the chain was soon lifted from the lioness by her trainer who waited in the stadium. Instantly her deadly stare locked onto the light skinned human who stood hand shaking-as she stood motinlessly. The fight was about to begin.

Personality: Erebus is a young rhinos. He as of yet doesn't hate humans, as he just arrived. He is usually eager to meet other animals. He is a fierce fighter.
What animal are you: Rhino
Appearance: Above. He is 7 feet tall, and 13 feet long. His shorter horn is 1 ft. 8 in. and his longer horn is 3 feet exactly.
History: He was born in the wild. Erebus was abandoned because he was sick when he was born. But he got back to health. He was a loner for a long time until he was caught by the Romans.
Kills: None yet, he just arrived

Jupiter

The tiger lay on his back while Cato rubbed his belly. Suddenly the halls lit up. Jupiter leapt up, roaring, and clenched his eyes with his paw. Cato sat back on his knees and rubbed his eyes. Two men called out, "Everyone, Every animal. Welcome Erebus the Rhinoceros to the stadium!" Large doors opened behind him. A large rhinoceros came out "Shut the cage door.." Jupiter breathed as the herbivore walked into a huge cage. "That thing is huge!" said Cato. With the lights on, they guided Erebus into his cage which was much larger than the others. Then the two men left and another man, probably Erebus's trainer, walked into the cage with him. And when the two men left, they did not turn off the lights. Jupiter looked around taking in what he had been living in for so long.

Vulcan, who had been absent mindedly pacing in circles around his cage ever since he'd grown bored with gnawing at the femur bone. He had slowly begun to become agitated with his small confines again, the longer tuft of fur on his back bristling to make that apparent. This unsettled behavior tended to happen almost every time he returned to his cage after being in the arena. How he longed for the ability to stretch his legs- a luxury one couldn't afford in a cage like this. Natural to his kind, Vulcan often gave his jaws a few rapid clacks and let out a few whooping high pitched laughing sounds- an instinctive vocalization to express his discomfort.


The heavy sounds of the doors being tugged open along with that shattering beam of light from outside made the hyena freeze and raise his head- large nostrils flared as he took in the scents of the outside. The human voices, Vulcan ignored as always, but it was something else that made his rounded ears snap forward. Quickly, his pacing began again. He walked back and forth at the front wall of his cage, yapping those agitated, yet curious high pitched whoops as he attempted to see what the commotion was about. Suddenly, an oddly heavy thud from just in front of his cage made him scramble backwards in surprise with a high pitched yap. It was an enormous beast- one he'd never seen here. It looked as if it were made of many Roman shields that had been molded together into a solid wall. Vulcan approached his cage wall and shoved his broad muzzle between the bars to try to sniff the creature as it was led past and placed in an enormous cage fitting for its size. "What in Apollos' name is that!? The hyena blurted, eyes wide as he observed the titanic creature from his spot.

[Howl at the Moon]

Ares was grooming himself. His trainer, Deiter, sitting beside him. Suddenly the halls lit up. Ares squinted his eyes shut. When he opened his eyes a huge creature stood by. It was like two short swords and a bunch of shield combined. The creature was two cages from him and the creature's cage was three times the size of Ares's cage. "What..? That thing is huge!"

((Umm, are two fights going on at once? Because in my previous two posts its been planned out for my character to go into the arena but now another is going in?))
