Darkstar felt the dog fighting beneath him as he clung to it's back. Suddenly the dog reared up. Darkstar nearly lost his balance. The dog must have felt him come lose, because it slammed it's back into the tree, and Darkstar's world went black.
Darkstar woke up a by the gathering place. There were nine cats, him, he noticed. One of them disappeared. Then Deerstar appeared. "Darkstar, you have lost your first life."
"Deerstar.. what happened?" He asked. Deerstar made a 'screen' and 'replayed' the battle. Darkstar saw the dog he was riding had slammed him into a tree. He had instantly went still. He blinked and looked at Deerstar, who swished her tail, and mewed, "You will go back now." Suddenly Darkstar's world began spinning, and he woke up in the battle. There were still a few dogs. I am finishing this. It has gone too far now. Darkstar climbed into a tree and screeched to get the dogs attention, "Leave now, before we unleash our wrath on you!" The dogs looked at each other. "By the power of Starclan, you will NEVER come back."
"Or what?" A black and white dog snarled.
Before Darkstar could answer, a cat floated infront of the dog, only millimeters from it's nose. He then realized it was his mother, Lilacfur! But Lilacfur is dead.. Starclan is always with us.. The Starclan cat hissed, "We will find you! And let me tell you something. We know where you live.."
The dog yelped in fear and scrambled to escape. The Starclan cat turned to the other dogs, "You'd better leave. Unless you would like me to call my friends here." The dogs whimpered and ran off. Darkstar climbed down and smiled at his mother, "Thank you! Thank you so much.. mother." He smiled. Lilacfur nodded and faded away. Darkstar then turned to his warriors, "Back to camp." He looked at Kaiheart, "I will speak with you later." He walked back to camp, limping from the pain in his back.
