Species: Kitsune (A slight mish-mash of the traditional Japanese Kitsune and the Korean Kumiho)
Age: Surely at least a thousand years old - Enkou gives a different answer each time she is asked.
Status: At full strength
Mate: Enkou occasionally takes a consort, but a mortal's lifespan is a blink to her and she rarely gets attached.
Abilities: As a kitsune, Enkou has a few. Her most used (and abused) talent is for shapeshifting - Though she can never fully disguise herself, she can take the form of any creature which she is familiar with. In particular, she likes to appear as a young, pale-skinned and grey-haired woman wearing a formal black dress, and occasionally appears as a ball of dancing blue light. When interacting with other creatures, she often tries to assume a form they are more likely to be comfortable with.
No matter her form, Enkou cannot change her eyes - At best, she can dull their fiery glow to an amber-brown. The slit pupils will always remain.
In addition to shapeshifting, Enkou can summon and command small balls of spirit fire. These usually take a soft blue color, and do not give off heat unless she specifically wills them to. She can vary them in size, and often uses their alluring glow to attract attention.
Lastly, but not least - Enkou can bestow some very nasty curses. A Kitsune's grudge is a terrible thing, and this is quite a creatively malicious demon. She rarely chooses to curse people, but it is a thing to beware all the same.
-Personality-
Enkou, at first glance, is the very picture of class and elegance. Her slender, graceful body and emphatic golden eyes paired with her seductive smile present a pleasing image, and her honeyed words easily mire the unwary. She is frighteningly intelligent, and highly perceptive. She maintains a polite and nice facade, but under that mask the cogs are greased with malice. Easily bored, she likes to vent by toying with mortals, seeing herself as perfectly within her rights to use them as playthings. She delights in making others into her puppets, expertly seeking loose mental threads and tugging gently until her victims unravel into a vulnerable mess. She's had a lot of time to practice her manipulations - very few ever realise her intentions until it's too late.
Those intentions are vague at best. Sometimes, they are purely visceral - Enkou has a disturbing habit of eating her victims once they cease to amuse her. Usually though, it's just because she CAN. Enkou just LOVES to interfere.
Enkou has good control over her temper - she rarely gets genuinely angry, unless she feels she is being disrespected. Despite this, she is capable of incredible cruelty. Cold, calculating and utterly unforgiving, she is best not roused.
Even though she has many unsavoury characteristics, there may be something resembling a heart in there after all. Enkou holds those obedient to her dear, and cares for those who prove themselves worthy. She never breaks her promises, or forgets favors. To squeeze a debt out of the kitsune - however unlikely - is to have an ally for the rest of your life and generations to come.
Occasionally, she will attach herself to a specific individual and function as a guardian. Why she does this is unclear, but it likely is simply for personal enrichment.
At all times, Enkou carries a strange, softly-glowing orb. She is EXTREMELY protective of this object, and will retaliate with fury should anyone else attempt to so much as touch it without her direction. She refuses to elaborate on the importance of the orb - perhaps there's a secret to it...

-Appearance-In-Game Appearance
Enkou's size and form varies, but the one constant is color - Always, Enkou appears with silvery fur, faded dark-grey creeping along her hindquarters. Her underbelly is always white, and her paw-pads always black with pale toes. Her large, almond-shaped eyes always have slit pupils - although the color of the iris can be suppressed somewhat, naturally they are a bright golden color that seems to glow slightly in shadow. Her brow is spotted with a darker grey surrounded by a slightly paler circle. Her nose is black, rimmed in grey, and her ears have a dark backside.
In her true form, nine sleek tails billow from the base of her spine, with the same color as her hindquarters at the tip and base. Occasionally, if she becomes incapacitated or careless these will be visible in her other forms as well.
Regardless of species she is imitating, Enkou always appears as particularly slim and light of build, well-groomed and attractive by that species' general standard.
As a human, for example - Enkou is tall and graceful, with waist-length silver hair, wearing a low-cut black dress with lace sleeves and an asymmetric hem, with thigh-high black boots and her orb on a silver chain around her neck.
