Realistic Lion Pride?

So, I've been really yearning to be a part of a realistic Lion Pride for a while - a RP where the main King is the father of all cubs and the only way a lion can be King will be to defeat the current dominate figure. None of that "princess" and "queen" stuff, there will only be a favored female among the group which the male will choose. Lionesses will stray from their territory to have her cubs and return after a few weeks. Just generic realism? I have a spare map to work with which I commissioned with a friend and would love to see this kick into action. Could we discuss some stuff, please?

Same! So I took it upon myself to finally introduce one with privacy in a map and a naturalistic environment to conduct with. I'm just disappointed these aren't a thing anymore, they used to be so frequent! :c
