Hey C:

You know how you can press buttons 0-9 to make an emote on your character? And how you can click on an emote in the emote box and the number at the same time to change it? It's not working for me.


I'm using my new computer - Windows 8.1 touchscreen. I've also changed number 1 to 'L' and tried doing it that way, but no. Is it my computer or...?

You mean the default box at the bottom of the emote box?

Maybe instead of changing it to a letter maybe to a number?

Are you trying to change the hotkey used to make an emote? If so, you go to options in-game, click controls, scroll down until you see "emote 1/2/3/etc". Click on it, and you can change the hotkey that way.

What I mean is, you know how if you press number one your character will smile? You can change that by clicking on the wished emote and the wished number at the same time. So if I wanted number one to be evil laugh instead of smile, I would click evil laugh and press number one at the same time. This won't work on my new computer.

Oh, you wish to change your emotes' controls? That is an easy fix. What you must do is go into your options menu. Head over to the Controls Tab and scroll down until you reach the Emotes 0-9. There you can click on the desired emote and then click the button that says change. You can then press the button that you wish to have as the emote key. And that should be it!
