I'm pretty sure hunting will be implemented one of these days. Kovu says that it isn't easy adding such a thing, but he was able to do it in Impressive Title, so I'm sure he'll figure out a way to add it in FeralHeart, especially considering the amount of support for it.

Hunting will come after Kov has fixed Moviemaker and Mapmaker. So it will take a while.

Calli, this thread was posted back in April of 2011. Yes, /some/ items will be added. Not alot. There won't be items like IT where people hacked to get them.
