Why is Blocking Considered Offensive and Rude?

I dunno, probably the feeling of being ignored by someone is too strong :/ It's perfectly fine if you block someone for a valid reason, but when you do it without a reason it can be pretty annoying to the person who was blocked, because people  like me hate the feeling they're on someones blocklist,,o-o
