Fur Textures

Here's a question for you guys.

Do you use the original fur textures in game or do you prefer custom ones. If so, which ones?

I use all kinds of textures for my in-game experience.
There are so many great textures out there it's so tough to choose which one I like!
But the one I'm using now is Tearless'.

I don't really know about a lot of textures which is a reason why I asked the question lol but I'm currently using Tearless as well!

The only textures I use are the ones that come with the presets I use, or other people's presets. Everything else is normal texture. xD

That's interesting. I was only thinking of character fur textures when I asked the question. I never really tried different textures for other elements in the game. So everything else is normal texture for me as well, Cosmic-Wolf!

Well with my actual game I just stick to the original fur textures but when it comes to presets I use a mix of different fur textures from various artists like Tearless, ToxicWolf etc. Hmm can't remember the names of all the fur texture artists but there are a number of skilled & awesome artists out there whose fur textures I adore.

Not a big fan of the textures in the game since they make the characters look "dirty" rather than give shade and depth. There's some quite spiffy ones out there made by community members as modifications but even these feels a bit "over the top" to me.

Since just a few days after playing the game I've always ran the game completely textureless for the characters. Not only does it feel more suiting to me due to how the game in general looks with all the various textures that exist, and that a try at super photorealistic look in the game makes it look so off putting. Having textureless also reminds me a lot of Impressive Title, and since I'm into the Lion King fandom more than anything else that you might find on the game it goes perfectly in line with it as well.

I do appreciate the work and thought put into some of the textures made by users, but for the game FH is I cannot really enjoy it nor appreciate it the way it was probably intended by the artist, and I am a sucker for more animated styles.

Still be using default, only because I haven't bothered to search for a texture I like yet.

I use original textures. Just like Red mentioned, other textures makes the presets look dirty.
