Can you connect your Chara's Personality to yours?

Most of my characters are annoying. Same thing with me I am annoying also
I don't know if this is in the right spot

Much. Mostly my main characters that I use have very similar traits to myself personally, if not, then almost like an alter ego c;

My characters actually tend to be really quiet and distant, but once some of my friends get on or I start talking, they can be quite talkative and weird. Like me. xD

Hmm, most of my characters are dark and sarcastic, which is quite the opposite of me. xD So I guess I lean towards more of the reverse of my personality instead, because its a little more interesting to try and role-play a character who has traits that you do not/are not used to.

I do think my main OCs really reflect how my personality is in real life for the most part, though I do have some that are the complete opposite of me. It's quite interesting to act out character traits that aren't similar to your own.
Like Hakumi said, some are also like an alter ego.

All of my main characters have some sort of thing that's a thing I do except for Ember she's a rebel.

All of my main characters have some form of social awkwardness. Faraji, though, is more towards my 'Dark Side', and not much social awkward-y.

I dunno I probably have them similar to me cause I don't know how to roleplay the opposite of me, heh.

I perfect a Garry Stue Character at times, many of a persons' characters will exhibit personal traits of either the author or someone close to them. personally what I find most common with all of my characters is their  inability to shut up at times. A bit like me as I get very annoying: especially when I'm tired.

My characters don't really connect to chara that much, but they are a little antisocial and sadistic.

yep, some of my characters at least do have something in common with myself, that being said, those characters do differ greatly from my own self. All of them are odd in their own way, some are inspired from characters of certain fictions, some are even inspired by music, but most are of my own doing. Though I see similar patterns between my characters, both in and out of FH.
