Could be that the server is being flooded with the amount of floofs trying to get in or are currently on. Could be a bit before actually get on ^^;

Earlier today, there was only 350 or so online, but I still couldn't connect.

It all varies on the connection and how strong it is. Some weren't able the get on as well while others can.
I would say that it could be something up with cloudflare but that's another mystery and hopefully it'll get sorted out.
You could try simply reinstalling again and see if that helps ^^;

I'll reinstall it, then go reset my router again. I sure hope I can get this XD
