Let's clear this up.

Controls:
The basic moving controls are W, A, S, and D (Also, Q. Q makes your character run in a certain direction, based on running mode and such.)

Relative Mode On:
With this mode, pressing A or D will make your character spin. Pressing S will make your character walk backwards. Pressing W will make your character move forwards. So, you can walk forwards or backwards, and use A/D to turn.

Relative Mode Off:
With this mode, pressing W, A, S, or D will make your character move in a certain direction (W is forwards, A is left, D is right, and S is backwards) depending on the direction your camera is facing.

Camera:
Use the arrow keys or the right mouse click to change the camera direction.


Also you can left click to move as well.
