Proboscis monkeys aren't that freaky. Just a little...odd. And it's only the males who have those nose flaps, to attract the females. Some chicks go for wavy hair, others go for huge noses. Depends on your taste, really.

This is a squid worm...I don't know why but it looks like something from a horror movie, to me anyway.

Sea pig. It does look freaky but I think it's cute! Lives in deep sea trenches.

This is a Nudibranch, it's kind of cute if you look at it for a long time..
But then you look away, look back at it, and it's odd looking again.

That's a horseshoe crab, a gentle creature that's related to crabs and scorpions that does virtually nothing but crawl along beaches and ocean floors. Horseshoe crabs are also considered "living fossils" because their body schemes and behavior have been virtually unchanged for millions of years.
