Preset Not Showing

Okay, this is really starting to bug me now and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
It's about making my preset show to others. Me and a couple of my friends have been making presets and testing them to see if we could see them amongst eachother. They give me their .fhp file of their preset after they've exported it (you know, the one in the 'presets' folder) and i've put them in my 'presets' folder. I go in-game, meet up with my friends and I can see their presets perfectly fine.
now we go onto my problem. I give my friends my fhp. file of my preset after I exported it (the same one my friends gave me), they put it in their presets folder, they log in, we meet up, and guess what. They cannot see one little bit of my preset.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, if I'm doing something wrong that is. I can't seem to find anybody else who has the same problem, and I can't find anyone who can actually see my preset in game.
PLEASE help me if you know what's going on!! It's starting to really annoy me now.

Yep, many times. it doesn't make a difference.

Perhaps they are putting your preset in the wrong folder? The presets need to go in the presets folder located in the main FH folder (as you might already know... ) As far as I can tell all the steps you have done are correct, so I don't believe you are doing anything wrong. I hope this helps.

Did you re-name the file? It has to be your username, an _, then whatever preset number it is. If I'm exporting my preset _3 then the file has to be called (My username is Ruby1234): Ruby1234_3.fhp
So if it's renamed it won't work. Is that the problem?

Also make sure you're wearing the same one that you sent; if you sent them say Username_5.fhp and you are wearing Username_4.fhp, then they will not see it.

Yep, I've made sure everything is correct, all of the coding, the fact i'm using the right preset. it still isn't working.

They're putting it in their presets folder. I've seen them do it. I don't know why it isn't working.

No, i'm wearing the correct one. skelizard_10.fhp
They put it in their presets folder and it doesn't work.
