Maron chuckled dryly and his tail thumped once on the ground, showing his amusement at the other male's question. He cocked his head to the side and looked at where the fae had left via, before turning his gaze back to the wolf before him.
"You're of a pack," he commented, remembering words that had been spoken to him by the only wolf he and his siblings had known apart from one another, "I'd not expect pack creatures to assisst a rogue like myself. Therefor, why would I seek it from you? It's true that I'm here for food, but we've all got'ta survive. Truth is, I had no idea of the pack here. I just wander, trying to survive; same as many of us nowadays."
