Haru
The pup happily skipped next to them, glad that everyone was back together now (although not all were conscious). Haru started humming a little to himself, scattering the dry leaves with every hopping step. He let his eyes shut for a few seconds, enjoying this all and sniffing in for the autumn scent. Haru caught another scent amongst those... Human blood... His eyes snapped open, a look of horror taking over his features. "No!" He cried, jumping over a fallen log and digging up some leaves and other twigs and sticks. One smaller log was blocking the way... Haru shoved away with his shoulder and revealed the bloody, battered body of the human girl. He winced and turned away, shielding his face with his paw. "I-I was supposed to look after her... Sh-she died... I let her die..." The image of the girl was burned into his mind, her skull cracked and oozing blood from the log that landed on her. Haru shuddered. "Not again..."
